Pruning
Proper pruning is one of the primary methods of maintaining tree health and longevity. While there are various forms of pruning, Bush League holds a high standard for proper pruning practices to promote healthy growth and beauty for your trees.
Clean Cuts
While those methods mentioned above are important to maintaining a solid tree health care program, the actual cuts themselves are equally as important not only for the tree's growth, but it's defenses as well. Properly placed clean cuts allows the tree to compartmentalize where the cut was made, sealing off it's wound so that it's not open to attracting insects or pathogens. A poorly made cut can take dramatically longer to compartmentalize leaving the tree exposed to pests and infections that can compromise the tree's health.

This is a properly placed cut that allowed the tree to correctly seal the wound with the branch collar.
